What this site collects.

Nothing. The longer answer is below, and it is checked by the build rather than promised.

This site

There is no tracking on these pages. That is not a setting that could be changed without anyone noticing: the build refuses to publish if any page other than the contact page requests a single thing from anywhere but this site, and the server sends a policy to your browser instructing it to block one anyway.

The contact page is the exception, and it is the only one. It loads a spam check from Cloudflare so the enquiry form is not filled in by machines. Nothing else on this site reaches outside it.

  • No cookies are set, and nothing is written to your browser's storage.
  • No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising or social media tags.
  • No third-party requests except the contact page's spam check. The fonts, images and video are served from this site.
  • No account, no login, and nothing on this site that asks you to identify yourself.

Your browser will cache the fonts, stylesheet and images the way it caches any site it visits. That is your browser's doing, and clearing it is in your browser's settings.

The enquiry form

When you press send, the form delivers your enquiry to the practice's mailbox at enquiries@vadum.com.au, and emails a copy of your own message to the address you gave, so you have a record too. Delivery is carried by an email service acting on the practice's behalf; nothing you type is stored on this website or anywhere else along the way.

Your enquiry is read only by the practice, and is used to answer you and to carry out any work that follows. You are not added to a mailing list, and it is never passed to anyone else for their own use. If you would like that correspondence deleted, write to the same address and say so.

The form uses a check from Cloudflare to keep automated spam out. It runs quietly and asks nothing of you unless something looks wrong.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare receives and processes the requests it serves, including the address your request comes from, and it keeps operational records of that traffic in order to run and protect the service. How Cloudflare handles those records is governed by Cloudflare's own published privacy policy rather than by this page.

What the practice sees of that is a count of requests in Cloudflare's dashboard. It is a number of visits, with no way to identify a reader from it, and it is the only measure of traffic this site has. Nothing is added to these pages to improve on it.
